Manila - Spoke with Sonia Mendoza -working to remove rubbish dumped on the neighbourhood street scape and create income from composting to support a local youth centre and public mini-viary;
Paris - spoke with consultants working to make zero waste a mainstream initiative;
The Grameen Foundation of Australia, represented by Mr. Shan Ali heard about Mother Earth Foundation (MEF) and their eco waste manatement project in the "A world Without Waste" radio series produced by the ABC and BBC and aired December 05 and January 06.
The Grameen Foundation invited MEF on Feb. 28, 2006 to be a partner in the Northern Samar Coalition against Poverty and to intervene in waste management.
